The ‘mom stalking Roger Moore’ album…with a few other things…
This album contains many shots from a summer when a film starring Roger Moore was being shot in the York area. My mother spent much of her time that summer injecting herself into the process and lurking around the locations and places where the cast and crew were staying.
This does also have some of the early photos from around the time I met Lorna and some good shots of members of the family.
Almost done working through the available albums now. One smaller one and some very old post cards left…

Nice to have internet and phone back up and running. It looks as if the old ONT we have doesn’t come back online reliably when power is lost. The tech suggested asking FairPoint to replace it with one of the newer models to save on costs of tech site visits…I’ll probably try that sometime soon.
We saw the new Thor movie and it was a lot of fun. Kept the humor in place and the chemistry between the characters was wonderful as usual with the Marvel movies.
Birthday weekend…doesn’t mean that much these days, but…
Looking forward to the upcoming Orlando trip with Alyssa and Jonathan coming along. Last chance to make this happen before Alyssa deploys and it looks like everything is going to line up this time.
Slow weekend from a sandbox coding perspective. Lots that is worth digging into…sometimes life gets in the way (and sometimes recharging is more important than coding). Read part of the way through the book on Haskell that I bought and I’m still not seeing the general usefulness of the view of functional programming that it presents.
