{"id":2538,"date":"2019-04-08T21:31:17","date_gmt":"2019-04-09T01:31:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ninecrows.com\/career\/?p=2538"},"modified":"2019-04-08T11:37:00","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T15:37:00","slug":"more-setup-over-the-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ninecrows.com\/career\/2019\/04\/08\/more-setup-over-the-weekend\/","title":{"rendered":"More Setup Over the Weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Played with some commercial motion capture software last Friday, more <a fgid=\"25360\" href=\"http:\/\/ninecrows.com\/pandamallet\/2019\/04\/05\/experimenting-with-commercial-mocap\/\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve upgraded most of my RPi machines to scratch and I believe I have the process of building OpenCV 4.0.1 on them to the point where it is reliable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have realized that I can&#8217;t push the full, unprocessed output of these webcams over the ethernet links. I&#8217;ll have to pre-process the data to reduce total size in order to make things work. Not sure whether the ARM CPUs have the necessary performance or not.
