Long weekend continuing the work of clearing out old junk from the basement.

Pulled most of my fiction out of my home office as well. Since I’m clearing up shelf space in the basement, I’m putting plastic bags in the boxes and dropping a silica gel desiccant pack into each box. Hoping this does the job as the basement can get a bit damp. I’ll be monitoring over the next few months to make sure the packs don’t get saturated too quickly.

I also pulled a few pieces of furniture out of the office. I think this is going to be more livable now…less cramped. I’m going to keep incidental documentation in the basement as well. Clean-up and declutter ongoing 🙂 Still likely weeks worth of work left, but well on the way.
