Busy weekend doing fun stuff. Didn’t get as much work done on the site or photo backlog as I had been hoping. Saw friends, went places and generally had a good weekend…

Photography Lighting and Web Site Artwork

I did get my indoor photography lighting in and it is somewhat awkwardly set up in the office at the moment. I intend to get some good quality shots of the fiction side of my library to use as headers on this blog as I transition the static crows header to the landing page and expand the coverage of this blog.

After the fiction shots I’ll likely move on to role playing games books and wargames boxes. I’m also going to take a closer look at getting my board games back in shape as I’m afraid that over time rules and other parts have wandered as I’ve read them and considered pulling one out to play with someone. At this point I want to get these back in order.

York’s Wild Kingdom

We went to York’s Wild Kingdom on Friday (courtesy of KMC’s 5/4 day schedule). It is a small zoo in York Beach, Maine (the town where I spent summers while growing up). Lorna likes seeing the animals and I wander around taking photos. We walked over to the Goldenrod to grab lunch and had a nice chat with my brother Chris who is a manager there this year. The weather was beautiful if a bit warm.
